NEWS: New Infographics Supporting the SAMESEA Pilot Action and Citizen Science

Two new infographics have been developed within the SAMESEA Pilot Action to support Citizen Science activities and encourage wider participation in data collection by engaging both fishermen and the general public.

The infographic “SAMESEA: Instructions for Fishermen – Data Collection” is based on the data collection protocol presented during the Pilot Action. It is designed specifically for fishermen, explaining in a clear and practical way how they can contribute valuable data and actively support the project.

The second infographic, “iNaturalist Project – SAMESEA,” is intended for the general public. It provides simple guidance on how to report sightings of dolphins, monk seals, and loggerhead sea turtles using the iNaturalist platform, helping to expand data collection through public involvement.

Together, these materials aim to raise awareness, promote collaboration between different target groups, and make participation in the SAMESEA project easy and accessible for everyone.
